Gravière des Saules gravel pit is part of the Goncourt complex in the Champagne region. It is rented on an exclusive basis for a group of 5 anglers maximum. Have the lake to yourself, enjoy fishing off the peninsula with your friends. Again, the lake's horseshoe shape ensures a sociable atmosphere with maximum capture chances for all anglers. The whole party may fish from a single peninsula in the middle of the lake. Each angler has his own “patch” of water to explore for the week.

Les Saules has a high stock of big fish (25lb-52lb+), but you still need to work a bit for them. Some groups in 2004 had an average size of capture of 30lb+. The average was once low twenties, now it is upper 20's with 30's caught on pretty much all weeks of the season. 40's do also come out, especially the commons which come out in flurries.
