2008 will be our 10th season on the French carp fishing scene. Despite this lapse of time and the increase of venues available our policy has not changed. It is still “No bullshit, just fishing” as you like it. |
| Our fisheries evolve yearly for the better, the priority has always been the quality of the fish available to our guests. We like our venues to be as hassle free as possible, there is little point in hyping something to lead someone to disappointment. Through this website you will find venues to suit your fishing holiday ambitions and budget. All the lakes are very different varying from the easy going runs water to the more adventurous big gravel pit with a more continental approach. |
We have opened a stunning gravel pit called La Livardière in the Le Mans region with an established population of big hungry carp . Chef de Ville has joined the books since it has changed management we are now confident that it is up to and above the expected standard with the service and carp sizes to suit all. Our latest venue is Gal's Lake an exclusive 13 acre gravel pit only 2 1/2hrs from Calais. We stocked it ourselves so we know the fish are in there and that their potential is just awesome !

In the meantime we are now taking bookings for the 2009 season on some of the Goncourt lakes such as La Traque and Les Saules or Boux . Whilst you are waiting to get on these, why not try your skills on a genuine French lake such as the Great Lake, this place deserves more genuine attention than it has been getting for the last 7 years. It is not that hard and you will struggle to find any more beautiful fish in the world. We have a lot of respect for our guests, the venues are for your enjoyment and entertainment, please help us maintain this ongoing enthusiasm by respecting the lakes, the fish and the persons who manage them. Bon voyage, SIMON HORTON M.Sc. M.I.F.M., C.Env. |
