A new lake record of 60lb+ has been caught on The Great Lake -Goncourt. :D This lake has produced several 50lb+ heavily scaled fish this year but Steve Dack from Hull really surprised us all with this impressive fish that bottomed out his 60lb scales. Steve was fishing towards the first island at approx. 80 yds range. He was using balanced tigernuts over a small patch of maize. The monster as well as a 29lb and a 31lb fell to a presentation of 15 heavy skin associated to an ESP longshank hook. Daiwa emblem advanced N Cast, greys 3,5lb 12'6 rod and 15lb big game completed this catch of a lifetime for Steve. Many congratulations to him. Simon reports that his fish was caught at 46.9lb 3 years ago. |
